After a lifetime of dedication to a cause he fought so selflessly for, the time has finally come for Martin Luther King, Jr. to be honored in a National Memorial. His dream of a better tomorrow with equality and justice for all has been heard throughout the U.S. and we are pleased to tell you about the opening of this beautiful new memorial site. Located between the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials on the Tidal Basin, the MLK Memorial will be easily accessible (walking distance) from the Smithsonian metro stop.
