Greetings to you on this very pleasant Washingtonian evening. Keep an eye out for an upcoming post about SmarTrip cards, but for now, here’s some quick nibbles to tide you over.
–Here’s a great article from the Washington Post on how any potential government shutdown would affect tourism, and some alternatives in that event. It’s looking more likely than makes us at Cherry Hill happy, but it’s nice to know there are other options if it happens.
-Cherry Hill Park was profiled recently as an RV park that offers electric vehicle charging services. You can drive in your plug-in electric vehicle and charge it up for just $10.
-As of last week, we have resumed our daily 4PM Sightseeing Orientation sessions in the TV lounge of our Conference Center. They’re as enlightening as always, and worth going to even if you’ve been to Cherry Hill recently, as some things have changed about the Metro system.
-Our dedicated maintenance staff have been hard at work getting our swimming pools shipshape for the spring and summer. Look for an update soon as far as opening dates-we’re waiting on warmer weather as much as anything else.
