Ford’s Theatre is an excellent visit to make if you are interested in learning about Abraham Lincoln, his life, presidency and assassination. Tickets to the Theatre include access to the museum, a 35-minute one-act play (which runs every hour), the Petersen House and the Center for Education and Leadership. Tickets are reasonably priced at $2.50 for entrance, and the Theatre’s schedule can be found here. Visits run from 9am to around 4pm or 5pm depending on the specific site.
It is easy to access from any of three Metro stops (Archives/Navy Memorial, Metro Center, Gallery Place); if you are coming from Cherry Hill Park, we suggest Archives/Navy Memorial. Directions for driving or public transportation can be found here.
