Washington National Cathedral

The National Cathedral is a spectacular site to visit, regardless of faith.  Its architecture and history can be enjoyed by all.  As of 2014, a touring admission fee of $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children (5-12) is now required; Sunday admission is free.  This fee will help assuage the damages from the 2011 earthquake.  Check out the calendar for the available exhibits and tours.  You can easily walk (downhill) or take any 30 series bus from the Tenleytown/AU metro station on the red line to the Cathedral.
