Grab your mittens and wool socks and head down to the ice rink at the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden. It’s open from mid-November to mid-March, they offer skate and locker rentals, and it’s a uniquely “cool” Washington experience. Skating on the National Mall? Awesome.
